Welcome to the Website of Andrew Tylka!
Hello there! My name is Andrew Tylka and this is my personal profile page. I am a senior at North Carolina State University pursuing majors in both English (Language, Writing, Rhetoric) and Poultry Science (Science Concentration). Here I will list some important infomation about myself, as well as some of my interests and aspirations for the future. I am currently enrolled in ENG317, and have already created another website on WordPress, which may be found here.
As I have begun to wrap up my undergraduate education, I am shifting my focus more towards various postgraduate opportunities. Among these I am most interested in either pursuing a Masters of Science Business (MSB) degree or applying to law school.
Here are some things to know about me:
- I'm a writer in my free time, and prefer to work on short prose compositions
- My most prominent interests are reading, anthropological research, and hearing new perspectives through conversation
- I have gone to to school and have lived in Raleigh, North Carolina my entire life
- My favorite color is green, and my favorite food is a classic cheeseburger
- I believe that every life experience deserves a try, at least once
- My personal favorite music genres include hip hop, jazz, EDM, lo-fi, and various soundtracks
- One of my favorite pastimes is hiking with my brother (Evan) and sister (Megan)
Here are some skills I offer:
- I am skilled at effecient reading comprehension and converting data points into written analysis
- Mediation and Negotiation; I have online forum moderation experience with processing feedback and translating this into positive outcomes for all parties involved
- My mixed background in both STEM and the humanities gives me a more broad perspective, and could help me provide useful insight
- My extensive use of a wide range of software on various platforms has given me a solid grasp of effective User Experience (USX) tenets
- I am currently developing and expanding my knowledge and use of both CSS and HTML, and will learn more about incorporating these with principles of web design

This is my dog, Stone. Unlike me, he seems to love the cold!
